Mercy Mission mentors are professional individuals who volunteer to give back to their community by mentoring a refugee/migrant so they can successfully resettle in the UK.
Our mentors are trained by experienced youth workers to acquire the much-needed skills to successfully be competent in understanding the needs of migrants and refugee youth. With the benefactor being the mentee, the mentor program has been designed to make sure it has the most uplifting impact on them.
All our mentors go through a thorough recruitment process which includes full enhanced Disclosure and & Barring Service (DBS) checks, training on safeguarding and training on how to be a successful mentor.
